Art and Photography

I am active in the Memphis art scene. When I'm not working on my own work I organize and plan exhibitions for other artists, such as the 2014 Art of Science. I also curated "Inspired Resistance" at the Crosstown Arts Gallery (2013), and "The Super-Epic Memphis Unicorn Magical Exhibition Show at Marshall Arts in 2013

I've been participating in art in one form or another for as long as I remember. It was an early interest that has stuck with me my entire life. I am both a creator of artwork, as well as a collector. I primarily use a camera (a large format 4" X 5" that uses film). I often think that once I retire I could happily spend the rest of my life playing with a camera. That's what I consider it to be: play. In the same way one can express something amazing playing an instrument. That's, after all, what a camer is: an instrument. I love playing with it and seeing what music I can make.
